This commercial construction project involved building and installing a large aluminum pergola to complement the outdoor patio space of a new Marriott hotel development. Designed to provide shade for a grilling and outdoor lounge area, the pergola features a modern aluminum structure with wood-grain slats that offer the appearance of wood without the ongoing maintenance. The structure was built using 6x6 aluminum posts and beams and securely bolted to the existing concrete patio. The finished pergola adds both functionality and visual appeal to the hotel’s outdoor amenities while meeting the durability demands of a commercial environment.

This deck construction project involved removing a large, rotted deck that had been improperly fastened to the home’s brick veneer. To correct the issue and bring the structure up to code, the deck was redesigned as a fully freestanding structure. New footers were excavated and poured to properly support the deck. Because the deck was located in a low area of the yard, an under-deck drainage system was installed and tied into the existing drainage infrastructure, allowing water to discharge safely at the curb. The new deck features a rectangular layout with a distinctive octagon stair design and built-in perimeter bench seating in place of traditional railing. The finished structure is durable, code-compliant, and thoughtfully designed to fit both the site conditions and the homeowner’s needs.

This exterior construction project involved building a new rear porch at the home’s back entry while addressing underlying structural issues. The existing sill plate showed signs of rot and was repaired before the new porch was installed. Once repaired, the porch was properly flashed and ledgered to the new sill plate and securely mounted to a newly poured concrete pad. Vinyl railing was installed on the new rear porch and extended to the front entry of the home to create a cohesive look that complements the home’s white exterior trim. The finished project improved safety, durability, and curb appeal while ensuring proper structural support and weather protection.

This construction project converted a partially finished carport into a fully enclosed garage. New walls were framed to enclose the structure, and a metal roll-up garage door was installed to provide secure vehicle access. The exterior was finished with vinyl siding to match the existing home and create a cohesive appearance. The completed conversion added secure, functional garage space while significantly improving the usability of the structure.

This project involved constructing a simple freestanding platform deck to create a functional backyard patio area. Built from pressure-treated lumber, the deck was designed as a cost-effective solution while still prioritizing durability and proper construction techniques. The finished platform provides a clean, level outdoor space suitable for everyday use without the complexity of a larger elevated deck.

This commercial construction project involved the removal of an existing deck that was not built to code as part of a property conversion into a daycare facility. The original deck was demolished and removed, and new concrete footers were excavated and poured to properly support the structure. A new pressure-treated deck measuring approximately 40 feet by 25 feet was then constructed, complete with code-compliant railing and a built-in bench. The finished deck provides a safe, durable outdoor space designed to meet commercial use and inspection requirements.

This front entry deck project involved a complete transformation of the home’s exterior. We began by demolishing and disposing of the existing deck, then removed an old concrete porch that had been concealed beneath it. A failing brick retaining wall was also removed due to structural concerns. The stair area was excavated and rebuilt with a new retaining wall to properly support the redesigned entryway. The new deck was constructed using cedar decking and finished with black metal railing, creating a durable, modern entry that significantly improved the home’s curb appeal.

This project involved designing and building a modern horizontal shadow box fence to fully enclose a wooded backyard. The existing fence was deteriorating and only partially contained the yard, limiting usable space for the homeowners and their dogs. The new fence was designed to blend naturally with the surrounding trees while providing increased privacy and security. Once completed, the yard was fully enclosed, creating a forest-like backyard space with significantly more room for the homeowners’ three German Shepherds to roam. The finished fence dramatically improved both functionality and curb appeal.

This outdoor construction project transformed an overgrown garden area and existing fountain into a built-in fire pit and inviting seating space. The entire area was excavated and carefully leveled to create a stable base. Metal edging was installed to define the space, followed by gravel installation to form a durable and low-maintenance seating area. A block fire pit was constructed and finished with a metal fire ring insert, creating a large, long-lasting fire feature designed for hosting and everyday enjoyment. The completed space provides a functional outdoor gathering area that blends naturally into the surrounding backyard.
